The Root Seller
Our Farm stand is lovingly named "The Root Seller" as both a way to incorporate River ROOTS to the name and it's a fun nod to previous generations who would store preserves and winter food supplies in their root cellars to keep them cool and fresh!
Our farm stand is where we sell our locally grown and freshly harvested produce (all with organic practices). Due to the nature of gardening that ultimately determines when and how often we're able to open our Root Seller stand but we'll always share on our social media what days you can come shop!
The Root Seller operates on the honour system - we have a cash box mounted on the wall by the entrance for those who prefer to pay with cash (please know that we aren't able to make change for you). Or you're welcome to pay by E-transfer or Square payments. When paying digitally please include a note of what items you have purchased to help us keep track of sales and inventory. This allow will tell us what items are popular so we know to plant more of it in future!
